Overview

A live, unrehearsed event where participants converse face to face with a French speaker.

Number of Entries

5 entries per level per school.

Judging

Based upon pronunciation, fluency, clarity & enunciation, intonation, comprehensibility, and effort. (Click here to view the Interpersonal Speaking Competition Scoring Sheets.)

Time Limit

Approximately 5 minutes, as determined by the event facilitator.

Procedure / Format

The facilitator will lead out with a greeting and start a conversation with the student using level-appropriate questions.
