Overview

Students submit an original design which captures the theme of the Convention and will be printed on either the Convention T-shirt or the Convention Program cover given to all participants.  Winning designs receive a monetary prize!

Number of Entries

Maximum of 3 entries per school, submitted with the school’s Convention Registration Form! (On or before Thursday, February 1, 2024.  No late entries will be accepted for this competition!)

Judging

Based upon originality, creativity, clarity, and representation of this year’s theme.  2 winning designs will be chosen: 1 for the t-shirt ($100 prize), 1 for the program cover ($50 prize).

Rules / Procedure

Artwork must be original in concept and design.  No copyrighted, purchased, or downloaded artwork may be used.  Using any non-original or non-student-generated material (clip art, templates, etc.) will disqualify the entry!  Sponsor may advise artist both on concept and content. 

Students should make their design as an outline drawing with black pen (no colors) on a plain sheet of paper (8.5 x 11 inches).  The image/artwork should also incorporate the Convention’s theme/title in writing.  The words “AFFC, French Convention, the date, etc…”  should NOT be included in the design as they will be printed separately elsewhere on the shirt.

Sponsor will scan the design(s) and attach as a pdf to the school’s Convention Registration form when submitted on or before Friday, February 1, 2024.  No late entries will be accepted for this competition!
