Overview

Students create a 2-dimensional piece of art inspired by the Convention’s theme.

Number of Entries

Maximum of one (1) entry per school.

Judging

Based upon originality, quality, impact, accuracy, and clarity of theme. (Click here to view the Visual Arts Competitions Scoring Sheets.)

Competition Rules

1. Entry must be theme-related.
2. Entry must be the student’s own, original artwork.
3. Entry must be no smaller than 8.5 x 11 in. and no larger than 24 x 36 in.
4. Entry may be of any medium (drawing, painting, digital, etc.)
5. Any writing visible on the entry must be in French.
6. Entry must not reveal the artist’s or the school’s name.

Procedure

Bring the entry to the Registration Table upon arriving at Convention.  Affix the number given you to the entry and display the entry on an easel (provided) for judging.
